Ningxiang County

Ningxiang (宁乡 县, Ningxiang Xiàn ) is the district of the city of Changsha, capital of Hunan province. The county has an area of ​​2906 km ² and has approximately 1.29 million inhabitants. Its main town is the large village Yutan (玉 潭镇).

Former Residence of Liu Shaoqi (刘少奇 故居, Liu Shaoqi guju ) and the Tanheli - site (炭 河里 遗址, Tanheli Yizhi ) from the time of the Western Zhou dynasty since 1988 and 2006 are on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China.
