Cooper wrote the song in light of the reactions of his mother's church, the va criticized his appearance at the stage shows of the band. Musically, it should be like a carbon copy of The Who 's 1966 single substitutes and published by Cooper's own words, a tribute to songs like this.

In Germany, the song kept 14 weeks in the charts and thereby rose to number 10, while it was represented in Austria eight weeks in the charts, reaching number 16. In the UK, a top 10 ranking was achieved as in the two previously released singles Elected and Hello Hooray 4th place again. Another top- 10 ranking reached the song in the Netherlands.
