Nõmme Kalju FC

The FC Nõmme Kalju is an Estonian football club from the Tallinn district Nõmme. By the end of 2013, the club participated as JK Nõmme Kalju the game operation.

History

Nõmme Kalju was founded in 1923. The founding was 1997. Having the team first took the field in unterklassigen the Estonian league pyramid, succeeded at the end of the 2005 promotion to the second-class Esiliiga. There the team ended the first year in the comprehensive ten teams league with the fifth a safe mid-table. In the second year the club was indeed only in sixth, but since four did not rise legitimate secondary missions were placed by Erstligavereinen in the league, that the association is Kalju Nõmme for the ascent games against FC Kuressaare qualified. After a 0-1 home defeat to kick succeeded in the second leg, a 2-1 away success and thanks to the away goals rule, the team for the first time rose to the Meistriliiga. In the 2012 season, the team was able to celebrate the first national championship again in a game against FC Kuressaare ( 9 October 2012).
