Norbert Ratsirahonana

Norbert Lala Ratsirahonana ( born November 18, 1938 in Antsiranana ) is a Malagasy politician.

Ratsirahonana was on May 28, 1996 to February 21, 1997 Prime Minister of Madagascar and September 5, 1996 to February 9, 1997 President as Acting President Albert Zafy was removed because of repeated violations of the Constitution and exceeded its powers of his office. Ratsirahonana prepared the new president is elected, Zafys predecessor Didier Ratsiraka against Zafy won - with a voter turnout of 49.7 %. Ratsiraka was then allowed to expand its powers on the French model.

Ratsirahonana worked with in the Christian Peace Conference, at the V. Allchristlicher Peace Convocation in 1978 in Prague, he took part.

Ratsirahonana is currently Special Envoy of President Marc Ravalomanana and took in that capacity at the Madagaskartag 2005 in Munich part.
