Norberto Menéndez ( born December 14, 1936 in Buenos Aires, † May 26, 1994 ) was an Argentine footballer. With the national team of his native country, he participated in the Football World Cup 1958.

Career

Club career

Norberto Menéndez began his footballing career in 1954 at CA River Plate, the Nobel club of Argentina from Buenos Aires. In a team with other Argentine football greats of the time as Ángel Labruna Félix Loustau, Amadeo Carrizo or José Ramos Delgado Menéndez won his first Argentine football championship in his second season at River Plate in 1955, when the club took first place in La Liga seven points clear area occupied on the Racing Club of Avellaneda.
