Nordkapp ( Sami Davvinjárgga, German spelling of North Cape ) is a commune in the Norwegian county of Finnmark.

The municipality is located for the most part on the island Magerøya; the smaller part is located on the Norwegian mainland. Magerøya is connected since 1999 by the approximately 6800 m long Nordkapptunnel to the mainland. At one of the northern peaks of Magerøya is the North Cape, a steeply from the Arctic Ocean up outstanding slate plateau, which is often referred to as the northernmost point of misleading on the European continent. Indeed, the three kilometers further west, from the North Cape headland Knivskjellodden the northernmost point of the island and the community Magerøya Nordkapp. The northernmost point of mainland Europe one finds instead further east with the Kinnarodden on the peninsula north chin, on the municipality territory of Gamvik. Tourist this region was first opened in 1664. Since then, it attracts travelers from all over the world in this area.

The administrative center of the municipality is the city Honningsvåg, the 1998, the most northerly town in Europe since the granting of town rights and therefore the city is also situated in Finnmark, Hammerfest replaced. Other settlements are inhabited year-round Nordvågen, Kamøyvær, Skarsvåg and Gjesvær on Magarøya and Kåfjord on the south in the mainland.

The Honningsvag Valan Airport is located in the municipality.
