Nošovice

Nošovice ( Noschowitz German, Polish Noszowice ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located seven kilometers south-east of Frýdek- Místek and belongs to Okres Frýdek- Místek.

Geography

Nošovice is located on the right bank of the Morávka in Beskidenvorland. To the west the hill rises Vrchy ( 433 m). East of the village of scale to enhance the inflow of the dam Žermanice feed channel Morávka - Žermanice, the water from the Morávka runs forwards in the Lučina. To the north lies the substation Nošovice, northeast of the large grounds of the Hyundai car factory Nošovice.

Neighboring towns are Pazderna and Vojkovice in the north, Bukovice in the east, Nižní Lhoty the southeast, Skalice in the southwest, Na Kamenci in the west and Dobra in the northwest.

History

The village Potměšovice in 1573 first mentioned in the course of removal of previously pledged to Jan Pukler rule Friedeck from the Duchy of Cieszyn. Purchaser of the rule and thus owner of the village were the brothers George and Matthias von Logau. 1664 Name Nošovice was used in land register first.

The inhabitants lived from agriculture and at the beginning of the 19th century started a glass factory with the production of water bottles. Until the abolition of patrimonial Nošovice stayed Friedeck belonging.

From 1850 formed Noschowitz a municipality in the district of Teschen. From 1908 the town belonged to the district Friedeck. After the Second World War Nošovice was assigned to the Okres Místek and came in 1961 after the dissolution of the Okres Frýdek- Místek. 1966 Radegast brewery was built. Between 1980 and 1990 Nošovice was incorporated to Dobra.

In April 2006, the Hyundai Motor Company began in Nošovice with the establishment of her work "Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Czech ," which opened in September 2009. The plant site is located adjacent to the substation Nošovice directly to the R 48 Frýdek -Místek to Český Těšín and the railway line Český Těšín Frýdek- Místek and is connected by a siding. In the first European car plant of Hyundai Group has invested 1.1 billion euros; it will create 1850 jobs, plus up to 7000 jobs in the industry. Provided the work is first with 200,000 vehicles such as type i30 and a minivan the Kia brand per year.
