Novafeltria

Novafeltria is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 7297 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the province of Rimini in Emilia -Romagna. The community is located about 28 kilometers southwest of Rimini and about 26 km south-southeast of Cesena on Marecchia. Novafeltria is part of the Comunità Montana Alta Valmarecchia.

History

The village has its origins in the mid-10th century with the establishment of St. Peter 's Chapel. Beginning of the 20th century the town was formed from districts of today's neighboring community Talamello. By 1941 the community still Mercatino Marecchia said. 2009, the community came to the province of Rimini. Previously, she was part of the province of Pesaro and Urbino. Traffic
