Oberhaid is a municipality in the Westerwald district in Rhineland- Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality Ransbach -Baumbach.

Geographical location
The community lies in the Westerwald between Koblenz and Siegen on the edge of the can baker country. Due to the location of the Saynbach belongs to the catchment area of the Rhine flows.
History
First mention found the village in 1376 as a heathen.
