OFC Women's Nations Cup

The football Ozeanienmeisterschaft of women (English: OFC Women's Nations Cup ), the oceanic continental championship in women's soccer, which is discharged from the Oceania Football Confederation (OFC ). The tournament was first held in 1983 and has since been held at irregular intervals. Until 1989 the tournament was called Women's Oceania Cup. 1991 and 1995 the tournament was merely qualifying for the World Cup of women. There Oceania is entitled to a launch site.

Record winner is New Zealand with four wins. Australia takes after he joined the Asian Football Confederation ( AFC) since 2007 no longer participate. Taiwan ( Chinese Taipei ) took part in (sport) for political reasons in 1986 and 1989. Due to the small number of women 's national teams in Oceania, no qualifying rounds have been played, but all registered teams were qualified for the final competition.
