Olav Magne Dønnem

Olav Magne Dønnem ( born November 21, 1980 in Øvre Surnadal ) is a former Norwegian ski jumper. He is the overall winner of the Ski Jumping Continental Cup 2003/ 04 and was especially successful in ski flying.

Career

Dønnem started in the 1998/99 season for the first time in the World Cup and was already on his third World Cup competition, on 19 December 1998 in Harrachov, win a fourth. In the rest of the season he could two times, on the flying hill in Planica, penetrate into the top ten. The following season, he missed most of the points. Only in ski flying at Kulm, he was able to prove than 25 points a placement. In the discharged during the season Ski Flying World Championship in 2000, he finished 19th place. In summer 2000, he participated in the Summer Ski Jumping Grand Prix. He was able to retrieve them perform better and usually occupied seats in the top twenty. Currently, Olav Magne Dønnem coach of the team Trønderhopp in Trondheim and serves there as an assistant coach with Daniel Forfang and head coach Geir Johnsen juniors.
