Old Mill (TTC)

Old Mill is a subway station in Toronto. It lies on the Bloor- Danforth line of the Toronto Subway, at the intersection of Bloor Street and Old Mill Terrace. The station has side platforms, is used daily by an average of 5,780 passengers (2009 /10), making it one of the least frequented of the entire network. There is a transfer possibility to a bus route.

The station is located in a river bend of the Humber River near the Park Lawn Cemetery. While the western part of the station is underground, the eastern part lies on a bridge that crosses the river. East of the river the route again runs in a tunnel. Glass windows along the platforms allow a view of the park-like valley.

The opening of the station on 10 May 1968 together with the section Keele - Islington. On 8 December 2000, the station was damaged by fire when ignited the contents of a waste collection wagon shortly before closing a burning cigarette. As a result of this incident, the Toronto Transit Commission refrained from further use and can carry away since the waste of trucks.
