Oleksandriia Raion

The Rajon Olexandrija (Ukrainian Олександрійський район; Russian Александрийский район / Alexandriski rayon ) is an administrative unit in the center of Ukraine within the Oblast Kirovohrad. The Rajon Olexandrija was founded in 1923. It has an area of 1,854 km ² and a population of about 37,000 inhabitants ( 2012). The population density is 20 inhabitants per km ².
