Olesya Povh

Olesja Powch (Ukrainian Олеся Повх, English transcription Olesya Povkh, . Born October 18, 1987 in Dnipropetrovsk ) is a Ukrainian sprinter. She was European Indoor champion in the 60 meters and European champion with the 4 x 100 - meter relay.

In 2010 she was in the hall about 60 meters and outdoor 100 m national champion. In each case the semi-finals she reached at the World Indoor Championships in Doha on 60 m and at the European Championships in Barcelona about 100 m. As a first leg of the Ukrainian relay, she won the gold medal in the 4 x 100 - meter relay at the European Championships together with Natalija Pohrebnjak, Maria and Elizabeth Rjemjen Bryshina. She was also in this year with the season third in the European Team Championship and second in the Continental Cup 2010

At the European Indoor Championships in 2011 Powch won ahead of her compatriot Maria Rjemjen the gold medal in the 60 m. At the world championships in the same year she was with the Ukrainian season third parties. In the team championship, it reached the season and the first in the individual race in second place.

2012 was Powch Helsinki European silver medalist. The squadron reached the final, but there was lost the rod. At the Olympic Games in London shortly after she reached the semifinals in singles. Successful was the relay race in which the Ukrainians won the bronze medal with a new national record.
