One of These Nights is the fourth studio album released in 1975 and with 4 million records sold, the first number - one album of the American rock band Eagles. The coupled- Singles One of These Nights, Lyin ' Eyes and Take It To The Limit reached in the charts the places 1, 2 and 4
The title song thus became the second number - one single of the band; Lyin ' Eyes earned them their first Grammy. The album marked the final break of the Eagles in the USA and made it famous worldwide.
Douglas Adams chose the title Journey of the Sorcerer as a soundtrack for the 1978/1979 BBC production of his novel The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
