Background information

The Sugababes were formed in 1998 by the manager of All Saints, Ron Tom. At the age of 13 years decided Mutya Buena and Siobhán Donaghy, who had both contracts as solo artists, to work according to a joint appearance together in the future. While the studio recordings Buena invited her best friend Keisha Buchanan. Ron Tom decided to point out that the three should work from now on as a trio. He also helped them quickly to a recording contract with London Records. All songs on the album were co-written by the Sugababes. Despite the Gold award in the UK and good chart positions in Europe, the sale of the album for London Records was not satisfactory, so that the Sugababes were fired in the fall of 2001 by the label.

Reception

The album was recorded very positive from the critics. It was also perceived as particularly positive that the girls who were at that time only 15 or 16 years old, sang songs and wrote what were considered very mature for her age.
