Oren Koules

Oren Koules ( born January 31, 1961 in La Grange, Illinois ) is a retired American professional ice hockey player and current - functionary, and film producer. He is best known for its film series Saw, which is produced by his production company.

Career

As a hockey player

Oren Koules began his career as a hockey player in Canadian junior Western Hockey League, where he from 1979 to 1982 for the Portland Winter Hawks, Great Falls Americans, Medicine Hat Tigers, Spokane Flyers, Calgary Wranglers and Brandon Wheat Kings was active. In summer 2008, he acquired along with former Canadian ice hockey player Len Barrie about the shareholder group OK Hockey, chaired he took over the rights to the NHL franchise the Tampa Bay Lightning for about 206 million U.S. dollars. 2010 sold the OK hockey franchise to the entrepreneur Jeff Vinnik.
