ORF SPORT (formerly ORF Sport Plus) is a sports specialty channel ORF, his program is broadcast via Astra and the cable. Before the conversion of TW1 to ORF III, the station shared the frequency with tourism and weather channel.

History

In May 2000, the ORF started a regular sports bar in the former station TW1. Otherwise rather neglected minority sports were given a detailed report here. Since the launch of ORF Sport Plus on 1 May 2006, the sports programs of the ORF are sent in the form of its own sports division transmitter.

On October 26, 2011 ORF SPORT was expanded to a 24 -hour specialty channel. The station took over the previously shared with Hit Radio Ö3 TV antenna frequency and received new satellite and cable locations.
