Osiny, Opole Voivodeship

Roth House, Polish Osiny, is a town in Upper Silesia in the community Comprachtschütz in powiat Opolski in the Opole Voivodeship.

History

In the plebiscite in Upper Silesia on March 20, 1921 170 voters voted to remain in Germany and 25 for Poland. Roth house remained with the German Reich. 1933 lived 529 inhabitants in the village. 1939, the place had 659 inhabitants. By 1945, the place was in the district of Opole.

In 1945 the previously German place under Polish administration and was initially renamed Rotuz and joined the Silesian Voivodeship. A short time later the name was changed to Osiny. In 1950, the city came to Opole Voivodeship. In 1999 the place to re-founded powiat Opolski. On 1 December 2009, the City received an additional Rothenhaus the official German place names.
