Otakar Vindyš

Otakar "Otto" Vindyš ( born April 9, 1884 in Prague, Bohemia, † December 23, 1949 in Prague, Czechoslovakia ) was a Czechoslovak tennis, bandy and ice hockey players.

Career

Otto Vindyš started playing as a teenager when I ČLTK Prague tennis. Later, he also played for the bandy team the same club and tried itself as a hockey player. Later he joined the SK Slavia Praha, where he continued to play bandy and ice hockey.

Internationally

At the Summer Olympics in Antwerp in 1920 Vindyš won with the Czechoslovak national team the bronze medal in the Olympic ice hockey tournament. Four years later, he took part in Chamonix also on the Olympic ice hockey tournament of the Winter Games.

Statistics

Vindyš completed a total of 26 caps for Bohemia and Czechoslovakia, scoring nine goals.
