Otto Blehr

Otto Albert Blehr ( born February 17, 1847 in rod; † July 13, 1927 in Oslo) was a Norwegian lawyer and liberal politician.

Blehr practiced as a lawyer and was from 1883 to 1888 Member of the Norwegian Parliament (elected in Nordre Bergenhus Office), and again ( in the north country selected ) By 1895 until 1900. He was Norwegian prime minister in Stockholm 1891-1893, and Norwegian Prime Minister of 21 April. 1902 to 22 October 1903. Afterwards, he was from 1905 to 1917 pin bailiff in Christiania (Oslo ).

1915 officiated Blehr briefly as Minister of Finance, from 1917 to 1920 as Minister of Justice. On 22 June 1921 he again took over the office of the Norwegian Prime Minister and it held until March 6, 1923. He was also a member until 1925 the Norwegian delegation to the League of Nations.

Blehr 1898 received the Grand Cross of St. Olav Order, Grand Officer of the French Legion of Honour and bearer was the Portuguese Order of Christ ( Grand Cross ).
