Özgürcan Özcan

Özgürcan Özcan ( born April 10, 1988 in Antalya) is a Turkish football player.

Career

Association

Özcan began his club football career at Manavgat Belediyespor and was discovered in 2002 by the talent hunters Galatasaray Istanbul and immediately brought to the youth of the traditional club. Enyne year later he was awarded a professional contract here, but played another two seasons exclusively for the reserve team. The 1.84 m tall center forward wears jersey number 27, 2005 Özcan came from Galatasaray -PAF team to the A team. In 2005 he won the World Fair Play Award FIFA.

In January 2007, Galatasaray gave him to Kayserispor. In the summer he returned. Galatasarary Özgürcan awarded in the 2007/ 08 season to Gaziantepspor. In the 2008 /09 season Özcan was awarded again, this time to the second division Sakaryaspor.

In January 2013, the contract with Denizlispor was dissolved. In the same month it was announced that Özcan has signed a contract with the first division Akhisar Belediyespor. For the second half of the 2013/14 season Özcan was loaned to second-division Tavşanlı Linyitspor.

National

Özcan went through the Turkish U-15 to U-21 national youth team all ages Turkey. In 2005, the Turkish part with the U-17 to U-17 Football Championship in 2005 and was the end of the tournament winner. In the same year participated in the U-17 World Cup in 2005 and occupied with his team to fourth place. For squad included players like Nuri Şahin and Deniz Yılmaz.
