Pablo Gabriel García Pérez ( born May 11, 1977 in Pando, Uruguay ) is an Uruguayan football player. His nickname is El Canario.

Association

Pablo García began his career in Montevideo at the Wanderers, for whom he has at least in the Apertura 1996 and 1997 Erstligaeinsätze. In the 1997/98 season, he led the Spanish club Real Valladolid. However, in the Apertura 1998 he acted already back in the Primera División Uruguay and played nine games for Peñarol. He then joined Atlético Madrid. From 1998 to 2000 he arrived there in the second team to the course, while in Erstligaelf no sporting activities Garcías are statistically. In 2000 he was committed to AC Milan and played for Northern Italians five times in Serie A. In the 2001/2002 season he stood in rows of league rivals AC Venice, although still a contractual relationship with Milan is registered. For the 2002/03 season his path led him again to Spain. For three seasons he wore the jersey of the first division club Osasuna before it ran aground in the 2005/06 season 22 times for Real Madrid. Celta de Vigo was his employer for the following season. 2007/ 08 took him under contract Real Murcia. Since 2008 /09 he played for the Greek first division club PAOK. Due to differences with his coach Giorgos Donis García finally solved in March 2013 his contract with Greek club. To date, he had played 109 league games for the Greeks and scored five goals in the process. There were ten national cup matches ( no goals ), 23 Europa League games ( one goal) and two games in the Champions League (no gate). However, in early July 2013 he returned to now managed by Huub Stevens as coach Greek club back and signed a one year contract. In the season 2013/14 he got there, however, only two parts of the national cup competition for the course. On January 10, 2014, he joined Skoda Xanthi and signed a contract until the end of the year. He graduated from there three league games, broke the treaty, however, already on February 10, 2014 back on. The player, who apparently is contract-free according to Uruguayan press reports, other sporting future is open. Several times he has, however, expressed a desire on several occasions to want to end his career at Nacional Montevideo.

National

Pablo García won the vice-champion title with the Uruguayan U -20 in 1997. He was captain of the Uruguayan national team, and completed by his debut on 13 December 1997 at the FIFA Confederations Cup in 1997 against the national team of the United Arab Emirates until 17 October 2007 when he in the World Cup qualifiers against Paraguay his last use for Celeste denied 66 caps, where it glückten two personal Torerfolge. The domestic press chose him as the best national players of Uruguay in the 2002 World Cup in Japan and South Korea. Also at the Copa America in 1999 and the Copa América 2007, he took part.
