Paolo Soleri

Paolo Soleri ( born June 21, 1919 in Turin, † April 9, 2013 in Scottsdale, Arizona ) was an Italian architect, inventor of the Arcology movement ( Arcology is a word intersection of architecture and ecology ) and builder of Arcosanti.

Life

Soleri was born in Turin in 1919. 1933, the family of Italian fascism fled to the French Grenoble. Here Soleri first attended the " Ecole d'Art Industriel ".
