Paprotki, West Pomeranian Voivodeship

Paprotki ( German New Parpart ) is a small village in the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship. It belongs to the rural community Malechowo ( Malchow ) in the powiat Slawienski ( Schlawe ).

Paprotki located 14 kilometers southwest of the county town Sławno and is accessed via a spur road from the side street between Malechowo and Ostrowiec ( Wusterwitz ). The place is nestled between the villages Malechowo, Karwiczki ( New Karwitz ) and Żegocino ( blessing Thin). In the south the Grabowa ( Grabow ) forms the border.

In contrast to the very old village Parpart (Polish: Paproty ) is New Parpart emerged only in 1810. Before 1945 there were up to 21 households with four large and 16 medium-sized farmsteads and 1 school. The small village has no center, but is designed as a scattered settlement, which was the residence for about 100 people. The country came mostly from the mayor's Rubow in Parpart.
