Papyrus 17

Papyrus 17 ( Gregory- Aland Sigel 17 referred ) is a early Greek copy of the New Testament. It is a papyrus manuscript of Hebrews contains only the verses from 9.12 to 19. Using palaeography, it has been dated to the 4th century.

The Greek text of this codex is a representative of the Alexandrian text-type. Aland placed it in Category II.

The manuscript was discovered by Lord Crawford in Egypt. It is currently in the Cambridge University Library under the signature add. 5893 kept in Cambridge.
