Papyrus 26

(Referred to Gregory- Aland Sigel 26) Papyrus 26 is an early copy of the Greek New Testament. It is a papyrus manuscript of Romans contains only the verses 1:1-16. Using palaeography, it has been dated to the late 6th or early 7th century.

The Greek text of this codex is a representative of the Alexandrian text-type. Kurt Aland placed it in Category I.

He is currently being held in the Southern Methodist University in Dallas (Texas ).
