Papyrus 78

(Referred to Gregory- Aland Sigel 78) Papyrus 78 is an early copy of the Greek New Testament. It is a papyrus manuscript contains some parts of the Jude. The remaining text includes verses 4-5 and 7-8. The papyrus was written in elegant handwriting. Using palaeography he has been dated to the 3rd or 4th century.

The Greek text of this codex is a representative of the Alexandrian text-type. Aland placed it in Category I because of his age. Comfort designated 78 as a free text.

The manuscript is in the Sackler Library as P. Oxy. 2684 preserved at Oxford.
