Papyrus 90

Papyrus 90 ( Gregory- Aland Sigel 90 referred ) is a early Greek copy of the New Testament. It is a papyrus manuscript contains parts of John's gospel. The remaining text consists only of poorly preserved fragments and includes verses from 18.36 to 19.7. Using palaeography, it has been dated to the 2nd century.

The Greek text of this codex is a representative of the Alexandrian text-type. Aland placed it in Category I because of his age.

Comfort writes that the " handwriting text would close affinity with 66 ... [ and ] a tendency to א ( Aleph ). "

The manuscript is currently being stored on the premises of Papyrology of the Sackler Library in Oxford.
