Paul-Émile Charbonneau

Paul -Émile Charbonneau ( born May 4, 1922 in Sainte -Thérèse -de- Blainville, Canada) is an emeritus Bishop of Hull.

Life

Paul -Émile Charbonneau received on 31 May 1947, the ordination.

John XXIII. appointed him on 15 November 1960 Titular Bishop of Thapsus and auxiliary bishop in Ottawa. The Archbishop of Ottawa, Marie -Joseph Lemieux OP, consecrated him bishop on 18 January 1961; Co-consecrators were William Joseph Smith, Bishop of Pembroke, and Émilien Frenette, Bishop of Saint- Jérôme.

On 21 May 1963 he was appointed Bishop of Hull. On April 12, 1973, he resigned from his post.
