Paul Jason Green ( born April 10, 1983 in Pontefract, England) is an English- Irish football player.

Career

In his youth, Paul Green played in the Doncaster Rovers and in 2001 he joined the first team that played at that time fünftklassig. After a year, he had already established itself as a player in the starting eleven and then managed with the team in two years the walkover in the Football League One, the third- highest league in England. While the team established in the league, he remained a reliable player in the midfield of Doncaster. Nevertheless, Green left after seven years at senior level Doncaster and joined the Premier League relegated Derby County. There he belonged from the beginning to the first team and was a key player. National

After Paul Green had established at Derby County, he was in May 2010 in the Irish national team a chance. Green is actually English, but may also compete for the Republic of Ireland due to his Irish ancestors.
