Pension Schoeller (1952 ) is one of three film adaptations of the eponymous comedy by William Jacoby and Carl run by the German director Georg Jacoby. Produced "Pension Schoeller " by Magma Film Production Hamburg. The film was released in Germany on 10 August 1952.

Action

The landowner and bachelor folding Philipp Roth, his nephew Peter Roth folding finances the medical studies, one day receives a letter from that in which he asks his uncle for 20,000 marks. This money, writes Peter that he wanted to invest in a mental hospital. In truth, however, the nephew has other plans: Neither he can see blood, nor has he ever studied each medicine; he devote instead and his music-loving friend Tommy himself body and soul to their band. With the money the uncle's own local and sample space would be nothing in the way.

The catch: The skeptic Philip wants the supposed institution examine first before he puts the money out, and does unceremoniously on the way to Peter.
