Perwez ( Walloon Perwé, Dutch Perwijs ) is a commune in the French-speaking province of Walloon Brabant in Belgium. It consists of five districts: Malèves -Sainte -Marie- Wastines, Orbais, Perwez, Thorembais -les- Béguines and Thorembais -Saint -Trond.

Geography

The community Perwez located in the southeast of the province of Walloon Brabant in the muddy hills of Hesbaye (La Hesbaye ), 40 km. netfernt of Brussels. Perwez borders the municipalities Incourt, Walhain and Ramillies in Walloon Brabant, and at Gembloux and Éghezée in the province of Namur.

History
