Rebecq or Rebecq- Rognon is a village in Belgium, located about 30 km from Brussels.

Boroughs of Rebecq are Bierk ( Bierghes ) Roosbeek ( Rebecq- Rognon ) and Quenast; the village Wisbeke ( Wisbecq ) was taken over by the neighboring community Tubize in the founding of Rebecq 1977.

Rebecq was known primarily as the birthplace of Ernest Solvay, the successful industrial chemist. The co-founder of the Solvay -Werke was a socially -minded patron of the company's workforce and education policy.
