Peter Pekarík (2012 )
Peter Pekarík ( born October 30, 1986 in Žilina) is a Slovak football player who is under contract with Hertha BSC.
Career
Clubs
Peter Pekarík came in 2004 to the senior squad of FK ZTS Dubnica. After good performances and the fourth in the Slovak Corgoň league defensive player of the league competitor MŠK Žilina was headhunted. In the serial champions 2000s Pekarík won his first national title in 2007. Due to its good and consistent way of playing the young players made other European clubs attention. During the winter break of the season 2008/ 09 he finally moved from his home in the Bundesliga for VfL Wolfsburg.
His debut in the German Bundesliga was the right-back 18 games, 31 January 2009 in a 1-1 draw against 1 FC Cologne. At half time coach Felix Magath him changed for Cristian Zaccardo one. Up to a game he came back with all round games to train and won with the Wolfsburg for the first time in club history, the German championship. However, he has always been more often replaced end of the season and finally just brought on as a substitute. The following year he came under new coach Armin Veh once hardly the train, only the new coach Lorenz - Gunther Kostner sat in the back round again amplified to the Slovaks. Similarly fickle was also the third year of Pekarík the VW factory club. Route, he was a regular for 90 minutes, then he again played only parts of a lot and the third coach of the season, Felix Magath, who had brought him into his first term yet to Wolfsburg, eventually abandoned in the decisive games in the relegation battle largely on his services. After all, he still came to 23 inserts.
Pekarík changed in August 2011 on loan for the season 2011/12 to the Turkish first division side Kayserispor.
During the summer break in 2012 Pekarík moved to Hertha BSC in the 2nd Bundesliga.
National
Pekarík is current national team Slovakia. He made his debut in 2006. Since he was appointed on a regular basis for the international matches of his country.
