Philemon " Phil" Ofosu - Ayeh ( born September 15, 1991, Moers ) is a German - Ghanaian footballer.

Life

Ofosu - Ayeh was born as the son of Ghanaian Peter Ofosu - Ayeh and his German wife Manuela, born Schlüter, in Moers. He grew up in Duisburg -Homberg first and from the age of two in Wilhelmshaven, where his mother married again after separating from his biological father, who was deported after losing his right of residence to Africa. So was Ofosu - Ayeh a German stepfather who treated him like a natural son. Career

Ofosu - Ayeh began his career at VfL Wilhelmshaven and moved in summer 2005 to city rivals SV Wilhelmshaven. After two years in the B- youth of the SVW followed a change to A -Jugend VfB Oldenburg. There he was a key player and returned in July 2009 to follow the SV Wilhelmshaven back to where he came early in the season the squad for the U 23; it was followed in November 2009, a nomination in the squad of the Regional team. International career

In January 2011, Ofosu - Ayeh decided to play for the homeland of his father, Ghana. 7 April 2011 followed his first-time nomination for the U-20 national team of Ghana. His debut but was prevented by the authorities of the SV Wilhelmshaven, because the club refused to release for the international game.
