Philipp Lukas

Philipp Lukas ( born December 4, 1979 in Vienna) is an Austrian ice hockey player standing since the 2000 /01 season with the Black Wings Linz in the Austrian Hockey League contract.

Career

Philipp Lukas met the ice hockey at the age of eight years to know when he appeared with his father and his brother Robert to training the WAT Stadlau. Not particularly excited about this sport at this time, his father, the young coach was a former hockey players of Czechoslovakia, his son Hockey brought them closer. Luke and his brother were now trained not only on the ice but also worked at home on their floor and disc art. In summer, the brothers visited annually training camp in the Czech Republic in order to bridge the ice-free period in Austria.

The age of 14 Philipp Lukas was mature enough to be a permanent fixture in the Austrian junior national team, where he regularly earned, among other tournaments in Switzerland, Canada and the Netherlands, with goals and assists in the points list.

At age 16, Luke played under the professional coach Kurt Harand, who also built him soon in the first team of the Vienna EV. There he also met players like Andreas Judex, Raimund Divis or Oliver Setzinger know. After he had completed the AHS, he joined the HSNS ( Army Sports and melee school), so he could train during his army time hockey.

1999 Philipp Lukas was finally an offer of VEU Feldkirch submitted, which he accepted also. From then on, he claimed in the highest Austrian league. Just a year later joined Luke because of the bankruptcy of his club with players like Rick Nasheim, Mark Szucs, Christian Perthaler and Markus Peintner to the Black Wings Linz, where he is true to this day.

In addition, Philipp Lukas since 2000 at World Ice Hockey Championships a fixed size in the national team.
