Podkylava

Podkylava (Hungarian szakadék - to 1907 Podkilava ) is a municipality in western Slovakia.

Location and General Description

The name of the village was first mentioned in 1709. The municipality is located in the hill country between the Little Carpathians in the south and the White Carpathians in the north. Nové Mesto nad Váhom is located approximately 25 kilometers east of the community, Myjava about 7 kilometers to the east, about 25 kilometers west of Senica.
