Pojo Municipality

The municipality Pojo is a district in the department of Cochabamba in the South American Andes State of Bolivia.

The municipality Pojo is one of six Municipalities of the province of Carrasco. It is bordered to the west by the municipality of Totora, to the south by the province Campero, on the southeast by the Department of Santa Cruz, on the east by the municipality of Entre Ríos, and to the north by the municipality of Puerto Villarroel and the municipality Chimoré.

Geography

The municipality Pojo located on the southeastern edge of the mountain range of the Cordillera Oriental, which forms the transition from the Bolivian lowlands to the high mountain ranges of the Andes.
