Pölsfeld is a district of the city Altstedt in the district of Mansfeld- South Harz in Saxony- Anhalt.

Geography

Pölsfeld between Sangerhausen and Hettstedt in the Biosphere Reserve karst landscape in the west of Saxony- Anhalt. Pölsfeld is located on the southeastern edge of the resin in a tributary of Gonna framed by mountains with meadows and forests. In Pölsfeld begins or ends of the approximately 200 km long Karstwanderweg after Förste in Lower Saxony.

History

The first mention was made in the year 899 as Bulli field.

The community Pölsfeld belonged with effect from 3 July 2005, the administrative community Altstedt - Kaltenborn, which has its headquarters in the city Altstedt. Prior to the community Pölsfeld went legal action against the association for managing community Sangerhausen as of 1st January 2005. Pölsfeld objected to this inclusion, which had been planned as part of a local reorganization with the aim of reducing the number of administrative groups and the resulting dissolution of their former administrative community Suedharz. On 1 October 2005, the enlarged VG Sangerhausen was also dissolved and incorporated all member municipalities in the county seat Sangerhausen. Pölsfeld escaped initially as the incorporation, but sometimes bigger way up to the new administrative center Altstedt are now for the citizens to cover. On 1 January 2010, until then independent municipality Pölsfeld was eventually incorporated together with the communities Beyernaumburg, Emseloh, Holdenstedt, Katharinenrieth, Liedersdorf, Mittelhausen Niederröblingen (helmets ), Nienstedt, Sotterhausen and Wolferstedt in the city Altstedt.

East of the village is the federal highway 86, which runs from Sangerhausen to Hettstedt. The A38 motorway, which runs from Halle ( Saale) in Göttingen, is located south of Pölsfeld. A railway connection has Pölsfeld not, but to the regional bus transport company Suedharz connected.
