Wolferstedt is a district of the city Altstedt in the district of Mansfeld- South Harz in Saxony- Anhalt.

Geography

Wolferstedt between Sangerhausen and cross- ford in the conservation area Saale Unstrut Triasland 4 km northeast of Altstedt. South of Wolferstedt flows comes from the north Westerbach in the Rhone.

History

In a resulting 881-899 Directory of tithing of Hersfeld Monastery Wolferstedt first mentioned as requiring a tenth place in the frieze Uuolfheresstedi field in a document.

On 1 January 2010, until then independent municipality Wolferstedt together with the communities Beyernaumburg, Emseloh, Holdenstedt, Katharinenrieth, Liedersdorf, Mittelhausen Niederröblingen (helmets ), Nienstedt, Pölsfeld and Sotterhausen was incorporated into the city Altstedt.

Traffic

East of the village the main road runs 180 of cross- ford to Eisleben. The Federal Highway 38, which runs from Halle ( Saale) in Göttingen, is located north of Wolferstedt. Opened in spring 2011 highway tank and Rest Area " Rhone Valley " is located in the municipality of Wolferstedt.
