Prairie Prince

Prairie Prince (actually Charles L' Empereur Prince, born May 7, 1950 in Charlotte, North Carolina) is an American rock and roll drummer.

Career

Prince is a member of The Tubes and a founding member of the group Journey. He has worked with many musicians, among others, with Chris Isaak (on the first four albums), Todd Rundgren, Brian Eno, David Byrne, XTC, Tom Waits, Paul Kantner, George Harrison, Dick Dale, Glenn Frey, Richard Marx, Bill Spooner, Neil Hamburger, John Fogerty and Tommy Bolin.

He is also active as a draftsman and designed among others for example the cover of Todd Rundgren 's album Healing. Together with Michael Cotten, he created numerous stage sets for artists such as Bette Midler, N'Sync, The Tubes and Todd Rundgren.
