Přední Výtoň

Přední Vyton ( German front Heuraffl ) is a municipality with 200 inhabitants ( 2006) in the Czech Republic. You more than twelve kilometers northwest of Vyšší Brod on Lake Lipno in the Bohemian Forest and is part of the Okres Český Krumlov. The land area is 7784 ha

Geography

The place is located in 734 m asl and the river on the right bank of the Lipnostausees. In the south, the star forest extends across the Austrian border, at the border crossing Přední Výtoň - Guglwald is after Schönegg. North-west rise the peaks of the Bukový vrch ( 975 m), Velky Plešný (1010 m) and Maly Plešný ( 975 m).

Neighboring towns are Frymburk and Frýdava in the north, Kobylnice, Lipno nad Vltavou and Nové Domky in the east, in the southeast Lipová, Vejrovna and Spáleniště in the south, Pasečná the southwest, Svatý Tomáš in the west and U Štoiberů in the northwest.

To the west of the municipality Schvarzenberk leads on a section of five kilometers over the border. Along the canal there are migrant border crossings Ježová - Iglbach on Iglbachdurchlass and Koranda (Rose Hill) - Sankt Oswald bei Haslach.

History

The village was established in 1357 Heuraffel two hermitages of Paulaner and St. Anthony. 1385 the church for the Paulaner by the brothers Peter II and was built by John I. Rosenberg. 1491 there was a merger of both monasteries to one. 1515 was a reconstruction of the church, and after 1550 the monastery was abandoned. Since 1785 had Heuraffl that was previously gepfarrt to Friedberg, a private rectory with attached school. The corresponding rule for Krummau place was until 1826 the term grand princely Krummauisch Heuraffl and has since been referred to as the front Heuraffl. 1930 lived in front Heuraffl including its districts Behind Heuraffl, Kapellner Waldhauser and Lindner Forest houses 907 people, of whom 879 were German, and in 1939 the village had 1120 inhabitants.

As a result of the Munich Agreement in 1938 Heuraffl annexed to the German Reich and belonged until 1945 to the district Cesky Krumlov on the Vltava River. A few days after the German invasion was the chief Further Cistercian P. Engelbert Blöchl, who served as pastor of Heuraffl, was arrested by the Nazis. He died on November 1, 1942, to hunger and ill-treatment in the Dachau concentration camp.

After the Second World War took place in 1946, the expulsion of the Germans, and in 1949 the Austrians were evacuated. 1947, the population was Přední Hejrov, as the place was called at that time, only 183 people. The villages in the border area have been declared off-limits after 1950 and the entire German Reichenauer valley and cleared the village Pasečná demolished with all districts. The same was done in the construction of the Iron Curtain also with background Heuraffl and Kapellner Waldhäusern and the Lindner Waldhäusern.

Nature

Přední Vyton today lies in Sumava National Park and the Natural Park Vyšebrodsko and is characterized by a very diverse nature.
