Prellenkirchen

Prellenkirchen is a market town with 1479 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013 ) in the district of Bruck an der Leitha in Lower Austria.

Bouncing churches located in the industrial area in Lower Austria. The municipality covers 41.55 square kilometers, it is thus the second largest municipality by area in the district. 5.55 percent of the area is forested.

History

In ancient times, the area was part of the province of Pannonia. In the core Austrian state of Lower Austria lying the place told the eventful history of Austria.

Population Development

According to the results of the 2001 census, there were 1285 inhabitants. In 1991, the market town of 1266 inhabitants, 1226 and 1981 in 1971, 1181 inhabitants.

Mayor of the municipality is Johann Köck, chief officer Johann Dietrich.
