Pressure Cookin ' (german for: cooking under pressure) is the third album by the American funk-soul trio Labelle. It was the only album they released on RCA Records in August 1973.
If published, the album due to the composed and texted Nona Hendryx songs from the critics was highly praised. Among the notable pieces are arranged in the style of Psychedelic Soul Medley of Thunderclap Newman's Something in the Air and Gil Scott - Heron's The Revolution Will Not Be Televised, in which all three band members Patti LaBelle, Nona Hendryx and Sarah Dash each rap a verse.
