Pruggern is a municipality with 620 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013 ) in the Expositur Groebming in Liezen ( district court Schladming ) in the Austrian province of Styria. From 1 January 2015 it has joined forces framework of the Styrian municipality structural reform with the community Michaelerberg, the new community will bear the name " Michaelerberg - Pruggern ".

Geography

The place is Pruggern in the Enns Valley between Groebming and Aich close to Schladming east of the entrance to Sölkpaß. The municipality covers an area of 21.75 km ² and stretches in a narrow strip from the place Pruggern in the valley southward to the ridge lines. History
