Pstruží

Pstruží ( German Pstruschi ) is a municipality with 763 inhabitants in the Czech Republic. It is located 2 km southwest of the city Frýdlant nad Ostravicí and belongs to the Okres Frýdek- Místek, Moravian-Silesian Region of.

The place is located in 455 m on the northern slope of the Moravian- Silesian Beskids between the mountains Ondřejník and Lysa hora. It was first mentioned in 1581 in the reign of arable Hochwald ( Hukvaldy ).

In Pstruží is the factory in which the first enamelware Ondřejnice the river was made in 1834. A significant work of local art work is the more colorfully designed carving of Our Lady of Pstruží, which was an exhibit of the World Exhibition in Brussels.
