Puurmani Parish

Puurmani ( German: Talkhof ) is an Estonian rural municipality in the county Jõgeva with an area of ​​292.7 km ². It has 1845 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2010).

In addition to the main town Puurmani ( 729 inhabitants) includes the parish villages Altnurga, Härjanurme, Jõune, Jüriküla, Kirikuvalla, Kursi, Laasme, Pikknurme, Pööra, Saduküla, Tammiku and Tõrve.

Particularly worth seeing is the manor of Puurmani. The plant was founded in the 14th century. The present building in neo-Renaissance style was built in the 60s of the 19th century.
