Pala Parish

Pala ( German: Palla ) is an Estonian rural municipality in the county Jõgeva with an area of ​​156.7 km ².

Pala is located in the east of the county and borders the Lake Peipsi. The municipality is situated approximately 50 km from Tartu and 190 km from Tallinn.

The rural municipality has 1302 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2010). In addition to the main town of Pala (248 inhabitants) it includes the villages Äteniidi, Assikvere, Haavakivi, Kadrina, Kirtsi, Kodavere, Kokanurga, Lümati, Metsanurga, Moku, Nõva, Pala, Perametsa, Piibumäe, Piirivarbe, Punikvere, Raatvere, Ranna, Sassukvere, Sääritsa, Sõõru, Tagumaa and Vea.
