Saare Parish

Saare ( German: Saarenhof ) is an Estonian rural municipality in the county Jõgeva with an area of ​​224.7 km ². It has 1367 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2010).

Saare is distinguished primarily by its unspoiled nature around the lake Saarejärv (area: 27 hectares ) and along the Kääpa River. The manor house was built in 1730 by Saare in the Baroque style and was at that time one of the most luxurious estates of today's Estonia. It was destroyed in the 1930s. The stables and storage are still preserved.
